Hey guys. This is the first time I've ever overclocked RAM. I did an undervolt / OC on my GPU but that was pretty easy compared to this. I had Copilot help me with a memory overclock. My goal was to get better CPU performance because the main game I play is battlefield 6 and I am CPU limited in that game, I have a 7800 xt GPU.
Anyways I started at 5200 MT CL40 and I had copilot AI help me adjust voltages and timings. It said that that because I have hynix m-die memory that I could push it to the sweet spot of 6000 MT CL36. I never ran into any issues while training and im currently stable having ran 30 min OCCT test and a few hours of gameplay.
I saw another user's post asking if you could potentially damage or limit the life span of my ram by overclocking it and I was wondering the same thing. I am hoping someone can take a look at this and double check my work.
