i had originally been using a -30 all core undervolt for a few weeks until i noticed core 7 hitting 93.5c with the 2nd hottest being core 3 (my perf 1) at 83 while rest were mostly 75 or below, while yes its "fine" i didnt like it.
i installed ryzen master just to see what auto undervolt values it would give me as a baseline so i could take it and remove 5 from said number, it gave me a -45 all core so i decided to test it because why not and it was running for 2 days (1st day was only benchmarks, 2nd was regular use) but then pc locked up when i loaded into a pubg match with youtube playing (gpu acceleration disabled).
now im here with -40 all core, ive been using it for past few days playing pubg/cyberpunk/assassins creed syndicate, youtube without using a gpu, 30ish tabs open between 2 browsers and always using sleep mode when im done for the day. 1st day was stress tests like occt, cpuz, back to back runs of cinebench r23.
core 7 is also my worst core according to hwinfo so should i just keep lowering the undervolt until it begins to clock stretch then dial back to the previous value? im happy with the temps/undervolt of the other cores so will leave them at -40
