Hi guys,

Awesome to see so many people try this method, whilst obtaining some amazing results and scores.

So I thought I’d give you a follow up mini guide on how to push your 9800x3ds that bit further to get those crazy high scores you see on 3dmark and cinebench.

You have the first bit down, found your stable point that works great for games and productivity.

Now we are going to go in the opposite direction completely.

Method:-

“Only use adaptive if you are struggling thermally”

1- Change your cpu and Soc voltage to auto.
2- Set a static OC at the highest possible value that allows you to boot.
3- try and open 3dmark, it may crash it may open but the system scanning information is more cpu taxing than the benchmarks themselves. So if it runs the loading screen it will run the benchmarks.
4- If 3- doesn’t work, keep trying, but make sure you don’t crash more than 3 times before doing a full system restart to avoid any problems.
5- Lower clock if boot of 3dmark seems impossible.
6- Now do your runs at crazy core clocks, 5.625ghz seems to be the hard cap, anything over doesn’t give more score.

So I did 1 run of each cpu bound benchmark in 3dmark to show you the results.
All HOF runs!

Now I hope to see some new names enter the scoreboard, good luck amigos 😎

Please DO NOT run these settings for a daily OC, it’s highly unstable!
