Like, I knew RAM was expensive, but I never knew it would get to this point. I asked him why he bought it at such a high price. He told me that in 2026, it is expected to increase by another 70%, so he had to panic buy, and secure it for his next build he talked about doing years ago. Apparently, he believes these prices will not fall for years and will only continue to increase for a long time. What has this market come to… I don’t want to see RAM approaching $2k in 2026. GPUs are already a hard buy for me. I’ve already been hoping for a somewhat affordable new year. 2025 was already bad enough!
