There are 28 characters in Street Fighter 6 thus far. Of course, at least two more are on the way with Alex and Ingrid confirmed for Season 3.
Reason|Boltstrike recently released an ordered tier list for Street Fighter 6 that ranks every character (including the most recent arrival, C. Viper). However, this particular tier list rates everyone based on the quality of their level 2 super arts.
It’s indicated that JP, Rashid, Blanka and Ed have the overall strongest level 2 super arts in the game. These supers are good enough to have practical purposes even outside of dealing damage in combos.
JP’s level 2 super art is particularly notorious as it gives him several “turns” in a row while the opponent is blocking. What makes it really difficult to defend against is the fact that the projectiles generated swap between hitting as overheads and lows.
Guile, Juri, Mai and Jamie are also said to have especially strong level 2 super arts. Evidently, supers that behave as “installs” are especially strong in Street Fighter 6.
The worst performing level 2 super arts are said to belong to Marisa, Manon, Kimberly, Cammy and Dhalsim. However, Boltstrike would later add that it was iDom may have influenced Manon’s level 2 super art position, suggesting that it might be better than initially believed.
