Okay so, after unlocking Kui Ji, Shuriken, Lily Maru, and sitting on ~130m cash, currently Grand Master V, here’s some feedback:
1) Ultras probability. I actively search 4-6 vaults per successful run and, in about 250 games, I’ve had 2. The other 3 I’ve obtained came from KuiJi crates because I no longer need the epic-tier crate for shards. I do think it needs increasing slightly, especially when the new “Extreme” mode is released. Maybe I’m just coping.
2) Random Teammates letting you die so they can steal your loot. You need to change it so that teammates can’t see your lootbox so that they gain nothing from deliberately letting you die. It’s probably the most infuriating part of DMZ right now, and I’ve seen plenty of posts expressing this. Please change this!
3) Ranking up is SO SLOW. Like damn, I appreciate you’ve made its grind to keep players playing, but there’s nothing worse than losing triple the points you earn from actually extracting successfully. I hear Legendary rank earns you about 9-12 points per exfil, but you lose around 25-30 for wiping. Seems insane to me.
4) Matchmaking with players WAY below your rank. I’ve been partnered with Veteran/Pro ranks as a GM. They should be matchmaking to those similar to their rank, and fill the remaining slots with bots (like you do in BR). Maybe DMZ doesn’t have a large population of players, as you’ve split the player base into playing MP/BR and DMZ.
5) Add the ability to choose your Affix on your guns for a monetary exchange (in game money, steady on now). I’ve seen people sinking $100m into repeatedly buying the same gun in the hopes they get their dream affix(s). It’s extremely demotivating when it might’ve taken them days to earn that cash, for it to instantly disappear.
6) Allow us to carry more than 3 Anti-radiation pills. Not sure why they have to be capped. You can pick up other’s pills from players crates, successfully exfil, and then keep them in your bag for your next trip, so I don’t see the problem with being able to just buy them as you please.
7) Refinement Exchange Store. It is way too overpriced for what you have to spend to accumulate those points. Should make it so that you can exchange them for “Ultra-tiered” weapons/armor to make it worthwhile perhaps? Or, give it other uses such as being able to buy death insurance, to be able to keep your armor or loot should you wipe. Maybe even keycards that you can’t usually buy in the shop (Kurohana Ship mythic card, for example).
8) Being able to play again with the same teammates. It’s so buggy right now, sometimes they don’t show up on the post-extraction screen. They also don’t show up in recent players on the invites interface. The only way to see them right now is to go through to your match history in your profile (at the main Home Screen outside of DMZ).
9) Add gas masks to the in-game buy station/vending machine.
10) Add helicopter to the in-game buy station.
11) Ram-7 is everyone’s go-to gun right now as it’s so versatile. Please add more guns so there’s more of a variety. I don’t think it needs a nerf, there’s just little variety right now.
