Where Winds Meet

A major 2025 highlight

Where Winds Meet Action Horse Kick

Where Winds Meet is truly remarkable. Set in a huge open world version of Ancient China, you take on the role of a martial artist on a quest to find your missing Uncle. It’s the biggest RPG of 2025 by far, and you’ll find yourself almost overwhelmed by all the activities and gameplay mechanics on offer. Master Thai Chi, fight epic bosses, solve mysteries and fight out who will win in a fight between a bear and a goose!

The combat and indeed the bosses feel like they’ve been lifted from a Dark Souls game and mastering your dodges and parries is quite the challenge. There is an unmatched sense of freedom as you glide, fly and ride your way across gorgeous landscapes. The sheer amount of things to do in the game puts many AAA titles to shame, and it’s honestly shocking that no gameplay content is locked behind a paywall.

Where Winds Meet is a staggering achievement in game design. With its dedication to detail, layers of systems that build on each other, hundreds of NPCs to interact with and so much more. It doesn’t hurt either that you can whizz across the gorgeous landscapes like Superman with a pole! A truly unique and memorable experience that deserves your attention.
