… to upgrade! I was going to wait until February after I get my taxes back, but with the announcement of the price increases from NVIDIA, I decided to bite the bullet.. I've been getting into AI coding on top of gaming and my 3080 ti FE was struggling.. given that the 5080 will most likely cost about what the 5090 is now, theres no sense in waiting.
If anyone else is thinking of going for it, Microcenter has this MSI Suprim Liquid SOC on sale right now for $3,129.99 and an additional 5% if you use their credit card… So I ended up getting it for under $3k before tax.
Anyway, I'm f'n stoked!
