The Gering girls and boys teams got Tuesday wins at the Chadron Holiday Tournament over Custer, SD with both teams for the Bulldogs now advancing to fifth place games.
The Gering girls yesterday beat Custer 51-46 behind a 20 point effort from Jacey Cochran while the boys team got 15 points from Max Judy with both Ayler Bell and Colter Shellito also scoring in double figures as they beat Custer 55-53.
Gering will play fifth place games today at Chadron High School. The girls play Chase County at 12:30 with the boys matching up with Niobrara County (Lusk, WY) at about 2 pm. We’ll carry the games on KMOR 93.3 FM & KMORfm.com starting at approximately 12:15 this afternoon.
