We’re approaching the end of 2025. Of course, there are plenty of exciting fighting game announcements waiting for us in the year of 2026.
For Street Fighter 6, Alex and Ingrid of Season 3 are set to be released early Spring and late Spring of next year respectively. This means that we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for Alex to make his grand return since the days of Street Fighter 5 (or Street Fighter 3 if going by the timeline).
Capcom has released new message in celebration of the end of 2025. Within this message, they provided a little tease for Alex in Street Fighter 6.
“Thank you for a great 2025!” wrote the social media post. “Let’s make sure 2026 is the bomb. A Power Bomb.”
Of course, the Power Bomb is one of Alex’s most iconic moves. As a grappler, this is effectively his command grab that’s especially effective at opening up defensive opponents.
In this social media post, Capcom also attached a new artwork piece of Alex in his Street Fighter 6 attire. Indeed, Alex looks ready to perform a Power Bomb on whoever he’s staring down.
