I have a Ideapad 3 15ARH05 gaming laptop. For the past few months it's been constantly crashing on me for no reason. Used to get 5+ blue screens of death a day.
Then, I downloaded MSI afterburner, and undervolted it, not expecting much and just to get slightly better FPS. But to my shock it's been a few days now and I haven't had a single BSOD since, even when running very intensive games
This isn't some weird lucky occurence because there's no way this PC could last a day without a crash. This is my undervolt now btw
Can anyone explain if I'm just tweaking, or did a undervolt really stop some hardware damage for some weird reason?
FYI this laptop has two GPU's, one integrated, but my external monitor uses the NVIDIA and laptop one is disabled
