Elder MMORPGs are rising to the moment
“This was probably one of the harder ones that the staff fought over to decide, with some compelling back-and-forth arguments and rationale between housing’s rise across the genre and the old stalwarts sticking it out, but in the end we settled that the impact of some older and established titles standing firm – while newer games fell over in what felt like a stiff breeze – is too important to ignore. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing for the genre is hard to say, but considering the chaos of this past year, in the industry and in general, having sure bedrock was not only comforting, but arguably vital. That said, here’s hoping for new sprouts and innovation!” -MOP’s Chris
