Over the course of this year for Street Fighter 6, Mai and Elena of Season 2 were released in February 2025 and June 2025. Season 3 characters Sagat and C. Viper were also released in August and October of this year respectively.

2026 should prove interesting as Alex and Ingrid are scheduled to be released sometime in spring. We should also theoretically start getting news about Season 4 shortly afterwards.

Earlier today, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama released an end-of-year message for the fans. Of course, he didn’t get into anything specific with this message, but it shows that he’s feeling enthusiastic about Street Fighter 6’s future.

“Today marked the end of the 2025 work year. It was a year in which I received tremendous support from many people,” said Nakayama.

“I hope to count on everyone’s support next year. I am very much looking forward to seeing you at events.”

Nakayama ended up releasing his statement in multiple languages seemingly with the intention of capturing the attention of as many fans as possible.
