Arctic Silver (not to be confused with Arctic) is a company that makes thermal paste and only thermal paste. This is very unusual, as nearly every other thermal paste maker (Arctic, Noctua, Thermalright, Corsair, etc.) make other cooling products, which make them more money. There are some other thermal paste manufacturers that exclusively make thermal paste, like Thermal Grizzly, but these companies make a wide range of high-performance products that are sold at a premium. Arctic Silver only makes two types of thermal paste: Arctic Silver 5 and Céramique 2, neither of which perform better than cheaper alternatives like Arctic MX-4. But somehow, they still manage to stay afloat, making thermal paste to this day. Why is this?

Edit: Now I get it, it's a combination of:

– Low cost of production

– Large number of commercial users

– Brand reputation and familiarity with customers.

Thanks guys for answering a question I've had for a long time! (except for that 1 guy who said that I have "the IQ of a brick")
