2026 is shaping up to hopefully be a big year for fighting games, and Invincible VS is going to be a piece of that pie.
The game’s Executive Producer, Mike Willette, has now shared an end-of-year update for Invincible VS to talk about its direction and what they’re working on.
In his full message, Willette details the core feedback they received for Invincible’s recent closed alpha test with observations and focus areas that they want to improve.
Navigation is the first point for them where they want to make movement more fluid, jumps less “floaty” and adjust their triangle jumps.
Moreover, Quarter Up is working on improving the rollback netcode to hopefully get rid of some of the issues found in the alpha like cameras, lip sync, and VFX remaining on screen.
They are also actively working on balance improvements, art / animation polish, new characters, stages and modes going into 2026.
On top of that, Skybound Games revealed the Invincible VS Collector’s Edition, which is only available for the PlayStation 5 on Amazon.
For $100, the Collector’s Edition includes premium display box, Steelbook case, an issue #1 mini reprint, character art cards, a controller layout and the Year 1 Character Pass and cosmetics.
Time to get physical.
