As reported by Mobilegamer.biz, citing a customer email, Unity appears to be introducing a new annual fee aimed at larger customers, requiring a “minimum commitment” ranging from $250,000 to $2 million.
This fee would probably add to the 5% price increases for Enterprise and Pro customers, effective January 12. Mobilegamer.biz’s sources claim that Unity Technologies has threatened to revoke licenses if customers fail to pay this new fee. Here’s what Unity’s email says:
