2XKO is set to finally hit its full release next month, but they’re still making adjustments to the early access version of the game.
Riot Games just released a new hotfix update for 2XKO today along with its patch notes.
This new patch makes a handful of adjustments to the existing roster, but doesn’t have any big sweeping changes or anything.
Darius had his Sunder follow-up buffed just a little bit to increase the knockdown on grounded opponents.
Vi’s One Girl Wrecking Crew also got a few changes to hit earlier and fix a side-swapping glitch.
And that’s apparently it.
At The Game Awards 2025, Riot announced that Caitlyn will be the next 2XKO champion coming with the release of Season 1 though we have yet to really see her in action.
She’ll presumably launch alongside the console version of the League of Legends fighting game in January though we don’t have a date on when exactly that’s going to happen just yet.
Riot also recently revealed their official tournament plans for 2XKO in 2026 where they are skipping out on doing a pro circuit and are instead supporting a bunch of events directly throughout the year.
You can check out the full 2XKO patch notes below.

Apprehend > Sunder (S1 > M)
• Knockdown duration has been increased when hitting a grounded opponent
• Previously, hitting an airborne opponent resulted in a longer knockdown. Now it’s the same regardless of whether the opponent was hit in the air or on the ground

One Girl Wrecking Crew (forward S1 > M+H)
• Opponents can now be hit earlier in the throw animation. This allows your assist champ to land attacks while the opponent is still airborne
• Also, fixed a bug that made vi side-swap with opponents while performing this move in the corner
