Plus gameplay reasons as well

Rose from the Street Fighter 5 character select screen is featured on both sides of the image of this story, the middle is Rumi from Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters. K-Pop Demon Hunters has over 236 million views and is the most watched film on Netflix, the world’s biggest streaming company.
You can see that the two bear a striking resemblance to one another, Rose and Rumi, with their hair color, similar face and eye shape, and noses and mouths.
K-Pop Demon Hunters made the cover of Time Magazine as The Breakthrough of the Year, and I’d think now would be a pretty good time to bring back Rose, who Capcom owns the full rights to since she made her debut in the 1995 release of Street Fighter Alpha, with a new style and resolving some key plot lines.
The amount of fans out there of K-Pop Demon Hunters that could see Rose restylized a bit in marketing materials and featured alongside Ryu, Chun-Li and all the rest, could potentially get A LOT of attention. Also, maybe you could work out an official crossover with K-Pop Demon Hunters.
Rose is constantly hunting down M. Bison, since he’s in a weaker form now, make her target Akuma for this next leg of things, and you have a literal Demon Hunter. Rose is one of the most powerful characters in all of Street Fighter, constantly battling against the main antagonists in the franchise.
Making her a literal Demon Hunter for Street Fighter 6 would be an amazing reference.
Street Fighter and Final Fight are franchises known for referencing popular culture. Now popular culture has a design similar to one of your key characters, have some fun with that.
At the end of Rose’s main story in Street Fighter 5, an apocalypse is about to happen to everyone in Street Fighter land is going to die because of G. Rose has to travel back in time to prevent this, and it would be awesome to get an update on how all of that went down, since the world is still around for the events of the current game.
And bring back Gina Grad as Rose’s English voice actress, as she always does a great job of bringing the character to life.
Rose also fits a need from a gameplay perspective, as Chun-Li remains the only true mid-range zoner on the roster, currently. Adding a gameplay style that’s very popular and heavily unrepresented is a good idea.
Rose was designed spectacularly well in Street Fighter 5, with Tarot cards and heavy use of her scarf, bringing back her plethora of moves would be a wonderful fit for Street Fighter 6.
We also recently conducted a poll asking our readers which DLC characters they wanted to see the most in Street Fighter 6, you can check out the results of that here.
