We know the history and origins of the creation of COD Zombies, but is it true that Treyarch back then weren’t enthusiastically on board of the mode’s creation?

This comment is from LateNightHalo on Choppers WAW retrospect video, but I’ve been hearing that Treyarch has been putting out their recons behind the mode’s creation, according to Jesse Snyder, the grandfather who created and birthed COD Zombies.

It seems like Treyarch was crunching hard and scrambled together during WAW’s development, but I never thought they pushed back against this mode, when this game is where it lead to where COD Zombies is now.
