I just bought 64gb of Corsair Dominator Titanium from a seller on Facebook Marketplace and I got scammed hard. 450 down the drain. Seller had all “legit” 5 star reviews. I was blocked on facebook and keep getting sent straight to voicemail. This was my first PC build and I was saving up for it for about 7 months from my first job. When I posted it on my local marketplace group I was informed that they are dummy sticks made for aesthetic. What got me was the labels on the ram. The seller must’ve swapped them for the actual sticks. The box too! Just wanted to spread the word in case you’re stupid like me and try buying used parts off marketplace.
