Given that the Woking-based team recently rounded out a very successful 2025 season with a second consecutive Formula 1 World Constructors’ championship and a maiden drivers’ crown for Lando Norris, McLaren fans certainly won’t be short of Christmas gift options this festive period. Now though, a brand-new gaming chair, developed by Singapore-based furniture developer Secretlab and inspired by McLaren’s 1,258-horsepower W1 supercar, may have just leapfrogged its way to the top of the list.

Sales Start Monday, But Only 100 Will Be Available
Interested parties can register their interest through Secretlab’s official website ahead of the start of sales on Monday 15 December. Be mindful though, unlike the company’s other Woking-affiliated TITAN Evo McLaren, only 100 examples of the Secretlab McLaren MonoCell Edition chair will be available to customers in the United States, Europe, Australia and Singapore.
Aptly, Secretlab has not yet revealed a starting price for the TITAN Evo McLaren Edition. Given the limited production run, the sheer amount of work that’s gone into its development, and the fact that Secretlab’s current range of products, including a previous partnership with Red Bull Racing, are priced between $560 and $900 USD, don’t be too surprised to see each of those 100 priced well over the $1,000 mark. If, on the other hand, gaming chairs aren’t really your thing, McLaren has pretty much every conceivable variety of t-shirts, caps, hats and sweaters available for sale to the Papaya army. Oh, and did you know that McLaren also had an official tie-in product with Nutribullet…?
The Gaming Chair With A Carbon Fiber ‘Monocoque’

Secretlab McLaren MonoCell Edition. Gaming ChairSecretlab
Like the W1, and indeed the legendary F1, the Secretlab McLaren MonoCell Edition has been built atop a carbon fiber topshell in a bid to find the perfect blend of strength, flexibility, and, of course, weight. Squint hard – no no, harder than that… – and you might also see the “aerodynamic silhouette of McLaren race cars” from which, apparently, the design of the TITAN McLaren was inspired.
Over the top of the carbon fiber shell, cold-cure foam has been molded, yes, to add comfort, but also to help relieve pressure and distribute weight, Secretlab’s reasoning being that gamers will likely spend a considerable amount of time in the chair. Similarly, each carbon fiber layer was stacked individually to help create a shape that offered the ergonomics. Again, akin to the McLaren W1’s bucket seats. Even the pebble seat base has been designed so that sufficient support is provided, regardless of whether the user is sitting upright or cross-legged.

On top of all this, Secretlab’s engineers have draped Dinamica microsuede, a material similar to the upholstery you’ll find in most McLaren cockpits, to give a high-end finish. Each MonoCell Edition also receives its own commemorative plaque, and, this being a McLaren tie-in, the famous Woking tick just under the headrest. The origin story of which is a lot more complicated than you might think…
