I bought this motherboard a while ago (MSI PRO B650-S WiFi, DDR5), and the specs online say it has 4 SATA ports.

Recently I got a free SATA SSD from a friend, so I opened my PC to plug it in… and realized something weird:

SATA 1–2 are normal and already in use.

SATA 3–4 are printed on the motherboard, but the “ports” are covered with a solid plastic block.

It looks like a cap, but it does not come off at all.

There is no side opening for a SATA cable either.

Basically only 2 real SATA ports exist.

Here are the pics of the SATA area (SATA 3–4 look sealed):

Is this normal?
Did MSI remove the extra SATA ports on this revision?
Or did I get a defective board?
