First I want to thank videocardz, Toms Hardware, Wccftec, Notebookcheck for writing a story about my issue. I really appreciated it

And to answer some common question people had about my issue.

  1. Yes the card is 100% functioning

  2. No it is not coil whine or the fan making loud noises. I am 100% sure zotac would have told me it’s normal before sending in my card. The issue is relating to the fan, maybe the fan bearing because it sounds like it’s scrapping onto something or the wires. I just want the fan fix nothing more nothing less.

I emailed back the RMA manager back and got a response on Dec 5th mentioning that the The highlighted area does not contain multilevel electrical traces, only PCle connector pads which are visually not affected. The affected areas are considered normal wear (installation) for a used product and show no significant damage, even at a multilayer level. My claim is about a fan failure (noise) and you have not even tested the card to recreate the issue as one of the Reddit user suggested as I am not educated about graphic cards and their components. And this was their responds

I also emailed BBB on the 5th and was waiting from them as they are closed on the weekend about my issue and felt like I just got a copy and paste response from them as well. I know Reddit hates BBB but they helped me out before.

It’s kinda funny how they are so adamant about not replacing my fan and also keep mentioning that they can just “dispose of my GPU” as if they really really want it. Like bro I gave you my address why is that even an option? Nobody is going to dispose of their card lmao.

As of now I am probably going to call my credit card company and see why they can do (I used the chase amazon prime card because that’s the only card that had extra warranty so maybe someone has experience with it) and just get my card back as other has suggested. Worse case scenario i might just keep using it until 7000 series or whatever AMD brings out during that time as the future of PC is not heading in a great direction.

I just want everyone in here to stay clear from Zotac as far away as possible and maybe even consider getting a founders edition as I heard a news about a 5090 getting damaged during shipment and just replaced it free of charge. Or maybe PNY is a decent brand

This is probably my last update unless Zotac has some change of heart or if anybody can get me in touch with Zotac cooperate.

EVGA we miss you!

Thank you all!
