9950X3D with 64gb DDR5-6000 CL30 1.4v. I can always score above average on everything except multithread AVX. I’ve tried so many different things in bios, so many different curve optimizer values. I’ve NEVER gotten this one past average and it drives me insane 😂
Temp didn’t go past 65 and it mostly stayed around 50 while running the benchmark test so I don’t think it’s a cooling issue.
I think what I have going on in bios right now is:
PBO Advanced – Motherboard limits
85 thermal limit
x2 multiplier
+100mhz (I’ve tried +200, no difference so I keep it lower)
Curve optimizer -20 on CCD0 -25 on CCD1 (at first I would always have a lower value on CCD0 than CCD1 but after switching it I’m scoring higher)
Then in the VRM window or whatever, I turned off vrm spread spectrum. I’ve tested using loadline calibration on level 1-5 (and not using it at all ofc) and level 3 seems to do the best.
There’s also an option in AI tweaker called “core performance boost ‘automatically overclocks cpu and ram” I have that turned off cause I’m assuming it would override my PBO settings? And when I had it enabled I don’t think it improved much
Expo 1, tightened my timings to 28-36-36-36-76
I’m satisfied with my ram scores and it’s stable where it is, although I do believe I recall scoring astronomically higher on my ram than I am right now and I’m pretty sure that was on something like 30-38-38-38-32 or some shit? I honestly don’t know much about ram timings I just have a general idea of what values are safe.
Any tips? I’m pretty noobish man its very possible that I’m a dum dum
