Edit: As some other have pointed out, the specific section of Sony that is pushing for this to go to the Supreme Court is Sony Music Entertainment, however I still believe that this is still important to acknowledge that this case is still ongoing, and if they win the Supreme Court case there is no reason why the other sections of Sony wouldn’t try and follow suit.
