Wiggling lean left to right while shooting seems to increase rate of fire.
Long time PUBG player here, when watching PGC 2025 I noticed most pro's spamming lean while shooting with DMR's even when it doesn't really make sense to. This intrigued me as I had stopped using most DMR's after the nerf. Which led me to start emulating their shooting in training mode.
Then I felt when timing lean a specific way while shooting the rhythm of my shots changed and sounded faster. I thought this might have been placebo but then I decide to record some clips and add a stopwatch.
With the first magazine I shot the bullets as quickly as I can without leaning and this resulted in 213 RPM.
With the second magazine I shot the bullets as quickly as I can by adding a lean left and lean right after firing each shot. This resulted in 273 RPM, which is 28% faster than the maximum firing rate normally.
Did everyone know this already and am I late to discover this? I tried searching both on reddit and search engines and found nothing.
