Hi friends!
This is my first time trying the PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) option on a Ryzen CPU. Previously I was using a Ryzen 5 2600.
Setup:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2
- PBO Settings:
- Boost Override: +200
- PPT: 120W
- TDC: 80A
- EDC: 120A
- Curve Optimizer (Per Core):
- Core 0, 1 = -20
- Core 2–7 = -10
- Cooling: Thermalright Frozen Notte 240, fans on the front panel, thermal paste = Arctic MX4
- Case: ZALMAN S4 PLUS
HWMonitor stats: https://imgur.com/a/4QeNYVo
Cinebench R23 (both tests): https://imgur.com/a/mm4ZQ7L
I’m looking for advice on whether these PBO and curve optimizer settings are reasonable and if there’s anything I should adjust for better stability or temps. My temps seem fine so far, but I’m not sure if my curve per core settings are optimal.
Thanks in advance
