5800x3d, had it sitting around in an old build. I wanna see what it can do direct die with LM. Unfortunately the postal service cant seem to do anything efficiently lately so im still waiting on LM.
If it goes well I'm planning on doing the 5900x as well.
Basically it's my way of potentially wasting a couple hundred bucks worth of parts instead of spending 3x what im potentially losing upgrading to am5 and having to pay a wayyyyy inflated price for ram.
Am I off my rocker here thinking i can squeeze enough out of these chips to potentially get me to the am6 launch 🤔 or am I about to waste a bunch of time and have to upgrade to am5 anyway 😅
