I would love to see Hollow Knight: Silksong crossover material in an MMORPG. That’s not the same as saying that I want an MMORPG set in that world; while I wouldn’t say no to that, I don’t think it’s inherently necessary. But a crossover in an online game that lets you dress up in masks and shells and the like? I would be absolutely down with that. Even if we can’t actually have an MMO in the setting, that would be pretty cool.
I think there are a lot of single-player games that for a wide variety of reasons feel like they’d potentially make a really good addition to an MMO of some sort, even if they couldn’t sustain a whole game on their own. So what single-player game would you love to see in an MMORPG? A specific single-player game that has the iconic style or features that would be fun to explore in an MMO, even if it’s just for a little while?
