
81576 damage per headshot. 67410 damage on the body with Double Tap – Double Standard. Throw Deadshot – Dead Point on top and you get another 50% damage buff.
Sure, the charge mechanic is weird and it's a pump action so it just shoots with 90-100 RPM depending on how well you time your shots. But with Rapid fire it doesn't hurt to just hold down the trigger, it's just slightly slower.

Important Edit: It does more damage when charged. The damage numbers above reflect this. So the best way to use this is to hold down the trigger. Charged RPM is 83 with Rapid Fire.

DPS wise this is almost on par with the the D20 Mirage, M34 Novaline and XM325. Some SMGs are in the same ballpark up close. But the best thing about it, body shots do 2/3 of that damage.
It can't nuke Zombies across the map like the Maelstrom did, but to be honest I am glad that's not the case. Hauer 2.0.

Edit 2: Slugs do 100k damage per shot with dead head. Bodyshots do more than 50k with Double Standard.
Whoever was in charge for that gun at Treyarch, they where fucking cooking. A slug shotgun is the best Sniper in the game.

If you need a setup, try this Build Code C01-3PRLC-TIB11:
- Tac Stance Laser and ADS choke to minimize spread while giving a better sight picture and mobility than a Red Dot.
- Quick Load Barrel to reload 14 shells at once instead of each one individually.
- Rapid Fire to just make it easier to use. Without it, holding the trigger slows down the rate of fire even more.
- Lastly the Mobility Handstock for faster movement and the Marathon Ready Stock to increase mobility and to cut down on the sprint to fire delay.
I hipfire this most of the time and go into tac stance when I want to hot special enemy weak points or do headshots on Zombies. Don't forget to activate Tac Stance by aiming in and pressing D-Pad left on controller or B on Keyboard.
Important Augments:
- Double Tap – Double Standard (faster pew pew)
- DT – Double Time (double bodyshot damage)
- DT – Double Caliber (more penetration damage)
- Dead Shot – Dead Point (50% more damage up close)
- DS – Dead Draw (Reduces Tac Stance and Hipfire spread)
It took me so long to finally get the right damage numbers because of the new damage mechanic and because damage numbers tend to look like a numbers salad on shotguns. But I confirmed them by going to round 45 and proofing that it still can one shot to the body even without Double Standard.
I will test the remaining shotguns tomorrow and add them to the Black Ops 7 Zombies DPS sheet
