Dragon Ball FighterZ ended up being one of the mainstage games at Evo France 2025. The announcements for Dragon Ball FighterZ that happened there took everybody completely by surprise.
SS4 Goku from Dragon Ball Daima and a new balance patch (version 1.40) were revealed. That new balance update dropped in October, but there were a few problems that required immediate addressing.
Fortunately, the Dragon Ball FighterZ team managed to release version 1.41 before the end of the month. While these patches were successful in freshening up the meta, the community has apparently been providing more feedback for the game.
As such, Dragon Ball Games has revealed that the developers are planning additional adjustments that will address specific “behaviors and phenomena.” The adjustments being made will be based on feedback the community has provided the team.
“Based on feedback from the recent update, we’re planning adjustments to several in-game behaviors and phenomena. Full details will be shared with the upcoming update,” said Dragon Ball Games on social media.
For now, it’s unknown exactly when these adjustments are set to go live. Of course, a new patch will have to be dropped when SS4 Goku is made available as a new DLC fighter.
SS4 Goku is scheduled to be released sometime in Spring 2026. Based on all of this, it sounds like there will be another patch before the release of SS4 Goku.
