BST|Daigo Umehara recently said that Akuma would only be top 3 with 10,000 stamina in Street Fighter 6. According to Daigo, Mai Shiranui and Ed are such strong characters right now that they’d still be the better top tiers even in this scenario.
In a recent video upload, Daigo shared some more interesting takes about how Street Fighter 6’s meta feels right now. He began to talk about which characters that are perceived as being very strong.
Aside from Mai and Ed, Daigo indicated that everyone looks at JP and Blanka as being top tiers. However, it should be noted that JP was only getting results with Kakeru, who recently announced his retirement due to health issues.
From there, Daigo began to speculate on who the weakest combatants are in Street Fighter 6. At first, Daigo seemed unsure, but he eventually came up with a few contenders for this portion of the tier list.
“If you asked me who the weakest character is, I’m not sure,” began Daigo.
“Is Ken really one of the bottom five?” asked one of Daigo’s viewers during the stream.
“Bottom five. Sure seems like it, wouldn’t you say?” responded Daigo. “He seems like one of the five weakest to me. I think Ken is quite weak indeed.”
After that, Daigo also indicated that Luke, Kimberly, Manon, E. Honda, Cammy, Dee Jay, Dhalsim and Sagat were struggling. Check it all out in the video below:
