Unity and Epic Games announce new partnership!
Unity games will be able to be brought into Fortnite, which has over 500 million registered accounts worldwide! Developers can publish their games to Fortnite’s massive ecosystem while also participating in the Fortnite Creator Economy!
Also announced at Unite was the ability to use the Unreal Engine with Unity’s cross-platform commerce platform. This will allow Unreal Engine developers to manage everything from digital catalogs and payments to web stores across PC, mobile, and the web. Pricing, promotions, and live operations will be handled from the Unreal Engine, which will be released in early 2026.
