2XKO launched in early access a bit over a month ago, and some things are shaping up quite a bit differently than the closed beta while others not so much.

The Challenger rank makes up the top 275 players or so in the League of Legends fighting game, but which teams and fuses are they actually using after this first month?

Luckily, the always dedicated AlietteFaye has gone through and collected all of the top ranked 2XKO data and compiled them into a handful of fascinating charts.

Starting out with the team usage, AlietteFaye found the most popular team was used by 45 players, which is more than the next three places combined, and would you like to guess who they are?

That’s right, it’s unsurprisingly Yasuo and Ekko follwed by Teemo/Ekko, Ahri/Ekko and Teemo/Yasuo.

Interestingly almost every possible team combination was represented in the Challenger ranks except for five.

Those are Braum/Illaoi, Yasuo/Braum, Jinx/Darius, Teemo/Darius and Darius/Warwick.

Other detailed graphics will be dropped tomorrow. For tonight, a quick look at the 2XKO team usage in Challenger Rank after one month.

From here forward, I will be updating these (and the other graphics for 2XKO) monthly rather than weekly.#2XKO pic.twitter.com/JqRCO9CaiE

As for the individual characters themselves, Ekko and Yasuo were of course the most picked there as well at 119 and 98 respectively followed by a steep drop to Teemo and Ahri.

And for which position the fighters are played in on a team, it appears the sentiment that Ekko has the best assists in the game right now are probably correct just judging by the data.

Despite being the most popular overall, only 29 of those 119 top players played Ekko on point while the remaining 90 all had him as the assist.

The nearest to the time bender an the assist side were Illaoi at 31 and Yasuo at 30, so it’s not even close since his usage is almosts more than the rest of the top five combined.

Finally, there’s the breakdown of Fuse usage in Challenger rank, which actually shows a pretty close balance between Freestyle, 2x Assist and Double Down.

But on the flipside, only three used sidekick and nobody took Juggernaut to the top, though that’s not too surprising considering those Fuses offer less gameplay options than the others.

If you are getting a bit tired of seeing these top characters everywhere, Riot is planning to release a new balance update for 2XKO aimed specifically at characters like Yasuo, Ekko and Teemo in just a few days.

The developers also recently released their own 2XKO online stats for the first month including very different things like total mushrooms thrown, tentacles summoned and how many times people actually blocked.
