Yesterday, I was permanently banned in the middle of a game where I had managed… 2 kills. No crazy or lucky kills, just basic close-quarters combat.
I quickly looked it up and saw several people who had the same problem. All of them were on PC and hadn't done the TDM manipulation (I'm too laaaaazy).
I submitted a request to be unbanned last night. Here is the result.
I played Warzone almost every nights for five and a half years, ended up making good friends. I had never played COD before. I never bought the game or spent a single cent on a skin or a battle pass. So, losing my account is not a major issue.
However, I find it hard to understand how guys who genuinely cheat and get reported by an entire lobby are never banned, or how I regularly run into the same guys in games with clearly Nazi, xenophobic, or homophobic usernames that I've reported dozens of times (in French, usernames are NOT at all moderated; Activision probably doesn't have the financials).
And then there's me, who has never, ever cheated, and yet I am permanently banned for cheating.
Y'all Enjoy the game, it is a good game ngl but i'm done with it. (Ofc I'm fkin banned)
