Chun-Li is scheduled to join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on November 5, 2025. We’re just a day out from this release.

As such, SNK is preparing a patch that will make the character available for everyone. In preparation for this, SNK has already released patch notes for version 1.5.0 of the game.

Of course, the highlight of this patch is that it adds Street Fighter’s Chun-Li as a playable character to the roster. Previously, we were provided with an opportunity to get an early look at Chun-Li’s moveset within Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

For the most part, Chun-Li plays similar to how she does in Street Fighter 6, but her Serenity Stance has been removed while some of her specials now utilize traditional motions instead of charged inputs.

Outside of Chun-Li’s inclusion, this is overall a very small update that is mostly focused on fixing minor issues. It’s important to take note that holding up while pressing normal buttons will now give priority to jumping instead of grounded normals.

Hotaru is the only character that technically received any direct changes in this patch, but it’s only for those using her in “Smart Style.” Going forward, jumping attacks performed after Koushuu Da would correctly be recognized as a hop rather than a normal jump.
