Kuaishou FightClub Championship 6 is the final Premier Event of the 12th iteration of the Capcom Pro Tour, and it’s been happening this weekend. Over 550 players have signed up to compete including players like TM|NoahTheProdigy, Reject|Tokido, FLY|Punk, T1|OilKing, Falcons|Chris Wong, FAV|Ryukichi and DFM|Nauman.
By looking at the character usage stats for the top 128 players, we can get a better idea on how the meta for Street Fighter 6 has been shaping up now that two out of four characters for Season 3 have been released.
SNK’s Mai Shiranui continues to dominate the competition as there were a total of 16 players using her (with two of those players using her as a secondary). Of course, it should be noted that only two Mai users were able to break into the top 8 portion of the competition.
Chun-Li ended up being the second most popular character with 12 players in total using her (one of them played her as a secondary). JP ended up being the third most popular character with a nine competitors using him as a main and two more having him ready as a backup character.
It was surprising to see E. Honda end up as the fourth most chosen character in the top 128 considering that most players see him as one of the weakest characters in the game right now. Regardless, seven players used him in the top 128 part of the bracket.
Ultimately, every character saw usage in the top 128 except for Elena and Sagat. The latest character to join the roster, C. Viper, saw the least amount of usage of the fighters out of those used more than zero times.
