Hello, I am not that knowledgeable about overclocking or anything to do with changing my components stock state and was wondering if I managed to do a decent job or should some thing s be adjusted.
I have a gigabyte 5070ti windforce
2872mhz with 1.06v – stock
3030mhz with 0.99v – currently
Other components –
cpu ryzen 7 9800x3d,
motherboard msi tomahawk b850,
32gb ram (dont remember name)
Powersupply be quiet 750w (Gold standard)
I have read about problems with the adapter in 50 series cards melting and my powersupply could be considered on the weaker side for this setup so my main goal was to undervolt the gpu and if possible gain some additional fps. For now I have not tested further than what is written. The card has been tested in 4 games with 100% usage for around 2hrs each, there were no artifacts or stutters of any kind.
Should I go further with overclocking/undervolting?
Is my result already good or have I taken only a baby step so far?
Is there any threat of melting cables with current setup? (Everything is plugged in properly)
Any other feedback would also be appreciated 🙂
