Bleach Rebirth of Souls launched earlier this year as an interesting mix of arena and traditional fighting games, and it’s about to receive another big update.

Bandai Namco has now announced that Ichibe Hyosube is Bleach’s third DLC character in a new trailer, which will be arriving very, very soon.

Ichibe is the leader of Squad Zero / the Royal Guard introduced in Bleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War arc, but he doesn’t just allow anyone to call him that name.

From the gameplay on display, we can see that they’re pulling out pretty much all of Ichibe’s moves he used against his one major fight against Yhwach.

There’s of course his Ichimonji to paint his opponents black, his ancient Bankai Shirafude Ichimonji, his giant spiritual appendages in Senri Tsūtenshō and his ultimate technique Futen Taisatsuryō shown off in the trailer.

Ichibe joins Ichigo Kurosaki and Retsu Unohana on the Rebirth of Souls DLC roster made up of Thousand-Year Blood War characters.

There’s only one fighter left remaining for this first pass, and we can only assume that it will be the Quincy god king himself, Yhwach.

Osho is set to launch tomorrow, October 21, for those who own the season pass while those wanting to pick him up by himself will have to wait a week until October 28 to do so.

There should also be a sizable patch coming along with him.
