Hey everyone,
I’ve been checking one of those CS2 case-tracking sites that estimate how many cases get opened per day, and I noticed something really weird. Normally the Recoil Case sits around 3–4 million openings per month, but today it shows over 10 million in a single day.
That just doesn’t make sense to me. Even with big YouTuber openings or hype events, there’s no way that many cases could actually be opened in 24 hours. The cost alone would be massive.
Does anyone know what could cause this? Could it be a bug or data issue with csfloat’s tracking? Or is there some event, update or weird market activity going on that I missed?
Would love to hear if anyone else noticed the same spike or has an idea what might explain it.
