






- Twisted the direct-die-mate about 50 times until the cover fell off when I took it out
- Scraped off the largest chunks of compound on the die with a plastic scraper
- Added be quiet! DC2 Pro to make it easier to remove the remaining compound
- Cleaned the entire board several times with isopropyl alcohol
- Apply a little flitz polish and clean the chip with a cotton swab (repeated 3 times)
- Cleaned again with isopropyl alcohol
- Found a spot
