Update 38.1 is now live on PC
Here are the main things you need to know about the update:
- Map Service Details for This Update
- Gameplay Updates:
- All vehicle windows can now be penetrated by bullets, and all vehicles now share the same wide, consistent penetrable area at the rear, regardless of design
- Recall System Updates:
- Blue Chip usage time at Blue Chip Towers now scales with the number of Blue Chips – each additional Chip adds 5 seconds
- Information regarding players returning to the Battleground is now provided through system messages and Match Log
- On 8×8 maps, Recall flights will no longer be available from Phase 6 onwards
- Gunplay Updates:
- SMG Changes:
- Hip Fire accuracy nerfed
- MP5K damage reduced from 34 to 32
- Panzerfaust Changes:
- It is no longer possible to sprint, jump, or vault while wielding the Panzerfaust
- Players inside vehicles now take 20% less damage when hit by a Panzerfaust
- Trunk weight increased from 100 to 130
- This means that the RB Coupe cannot hold a Panzerfaust in its trunk anymore, and you can only put 1 Panzerfaust in the trunk of other vehicles
- Destructible Terrain Added to Miramar
- Ranked Season 38
- The maximum division gap for premade Ranked parties has been increased to 12

- Fixes for various audio issues on Karakin
- A fix for an issue on Miramar where players could not deal damage to partially visible players when shooting at certain locations
- A fix for an issue where bots landing outside playable areas would remain alive until the end of a match
- A fix for an issue where prone players were momentarily displayed as floating in midair
- A fix for an issue where deathboxes would intermittently disappear when placed in doorways
- A fix for an issue where Gas Cans could not be destroyed with the Tommy Gun
- A fix for an issue where an equipped backpack was not visible when wearing specific Ghillie Suits
