I recently picked up the Sapphire RX 9070XT Pure Edition, and I’ve been hearing that with the right undervolt and mild overclock, it can run cooler, quieter, and even perform better. This is my first time trying to undervolt or overclock a GPU, so I’d love some guidance from those who’ve done it with this card or other RDNA 4 models.
Here’s my current build for context:
CPU: Intel i5-14600K
GPU: Sapphire RX 9070XT Pure Edition
PSU: 850W 80+ Gold
RAM: Acer Predator 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5 6000MHz
Monitor: Acer 1440p 170Hz
OS: Windows 11
I’m mainly looking for:
Recommended tools/software (AMD Adrenalin, MSI Afterburner, etc.)
Safe voltage, frequency, and power limit ranges for this GPU
Fan curve or thermal tuning advice for quieter operation
Reliable guides or videos you personally found helpful
How to properly test for stability (benchmarks, stress tests, etc.)
Any undervolt/OC profiles you’d be willing to share for the 9070XT Pure
My goal is to get the best balance between performance, temperature, and power efficiency — nothing extreme, just a well-tuned and stable setup.
