Did you like the idea of upgradable perks used in Vanguard Zombies?

As the title says: Vanguard Zombies had this mechanic that allowed you to upgrade your perks, increasing the bonus that they were providing.

What do you think about that? Would you like to see a similar system coming back in the future?
