As someone who still plays my Xbox 360 copy of this game, I’m excited to see it get a fresh coat of paint. Beyond the visual enhancements, there are new game modes added, like overcast days that raise the difficulty by making sunlight more scarce. The Tree of Wisdom is also getting an upgrade with new unlockables and sneak peeks behind the making of the game.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted sets down new roots in old territory when it releases on October 23, 2025. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
