As part of the PlayStation State of Play for September, Sony announced the next games heading to the PlayStation Plus library of free games in October 2025.
Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon are all coming to the Essentials tier of PlayStation Plus on Tuesday, October 7. Additionally, Sony announced that The Last of Us Part II Remastered will join the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog on September 26.

You have until the new games become available on October 7 to claim September’s free PS Plus games, which include Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder.
