Description of Original Problem:

I bought this prebuilt PC from Skytech Gaming a week ago, and it came with EXPO enabled in BIOS. Ever since then, I've run into instability such as BSODs, random crashes while gaming, system not POSTing, basically unusuable.

I cannot get EXPO stable no matter what I do. Disabling it by just resetting BIOS to default settings seems to be the only solution as it at least passes Memtest86.

I looked on the ASUS website and I could not find the memory on their QVL list.

Troubleshooting:

Basically anything other than stock and 4800MHZ causes instability, crashes, not posting, failing Memtest86, etc. I've tried Buildzoid's timings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlYxmRcdLVw&t=956s) but the next morning my PC wouldn't even POST. Yes I do wait like 5 minutes for the memory to train.

I've tried a ton of variations of EXPO I, EXPO II, MCR disabled (both options), PDE disabled, UKLK=MEMCLK, setting manual frequency to 5200 MHZ, 5600MHZ, 6000MHZ, PBO enabled, SOC voltage set to 1.25 manually.

I have spent the entire past week just troubleshooting this, scouring the internet for solutions based on similar builds and trying everything under the sun.

Questions

Am I just going to have to live with stock RAM performance 4800MHZ?

Is there really a big difference between 4800MHZ and say like 5200 MHZ or 5600MHZ or 6000 MHZ if I'm mostly just gaming and streaming?

What else can I try? I am at my wit's end and have already contacted Skytech for a refund because I am so frustrated with it. I didn't pay this much money just to have to troubleshoot it to get it to run at it's advertised speed. Ryzen 7700 should run at least 5200MHZ according to its website.

Is it worth returning for a refund or should I just live with it and not have to pay potential restocking fees?
