Players of Borderlands 4 have recently voiced frustration after discovering that a new update has caused several cosmetic items and pre-order bonuses to disappear from their accounts. Reports on Reddit, Twitter, and other platforms indicate that a variety of customization options, including character skins, hairstyles, and outfits, were suddenly removed following the latest patch.
According to player accounts, the update appears to have rolled back access to items that were unintentionally made available to some users. Among the missing content are the Runner skins for Rafa, Exo Soldier, and Agent outfits for Vex. Entire categories of cosmetics vanished from customization menus, suggesting that the items were not simply hidden but removed altogether. One player traced their missing Vex Agent outfit to the Ornate Order cosmetic pack, a paid DLC bundle that had been mistakenly unlocked for certain players. This discovery suggests that the patch corrected the error by revoking access to DLC that had been obtained for free, whether intentionally or not.
