Nintendo has released version 2.0.0 of its Nintendo Today! app, adding a new Kirby theme, more language support and, interestingly, some features tailored for Nintendo Live 2025 TOKYO attendees.
As for languages, the app now supports English (EU), Spanish (EU), Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
Additionally, the update introduces an exclusive event page that requires attendance verification to access certain in-venue content. Verification can only be completed at a designated area within the event space using a sound-wave signal. Nintendo notes that this process may briefly activate a smartphone’s microphone light, but reassures that conversations and personal data are not recorded or collected.
These features are designed to enhance the attendee experience at Nintendo Live 2025 TOKYO and offering special content directly through the app.
