Hey guys,
I’ve been running this undervolt setup on my 7800X3D for about 6 months, and I’d like to hear your thoughts.

Specs:

– OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 64-bit
– Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX WiFi (rev. 1.2)
– BIOS/UEFI: Updated from FB3i to FB5 (currently on FB5)
– CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
– Cooler: Gamdias Chione P3-360U (360mm AIO)
– Thermal Paste: Snowdog Husky 12.8 W/m·K
– Mounting Frame: Thermalright Ryzen ASF Secure Frame AM5 – Black
– RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL32 (Hynix)
– PSU: Corsair RM850x (850W 80 Plus Gold)
– Case: Gamdias Talos E3 Mesh Elite Black (2x140mm front, 1x120mm rear)

BIOS settings:

– PBO: Advanced
– Very high limits (PPT 72W / TDC 280A / EDC 350A)
– Curve Optimizer: All cores -45
– RAM: XMP1 (DDR5-6000 CL32)
– SOC: 1.20V

At idle/BIOS, CPU sits around 35–55 °C, and in PUBG temps go up to 70–81 °C, even with PBO (-45).
I’ve attached BIOS screenshots and a picture of the build for context.

Question: Is it normal for it to hit these temps even with -45 CO?
Or could something be off with my PBO/LLC/SOC settings?

Thanks!
